Balikovna-BOX
It is a self-service facility from which you can pick up your parcel at any time without queuing.
Balíkovna-BOX Pick up
To pick up, enter the pickup code on the box display. The box opens, you pick up the package, close the box and you're done. If you have a COD package, pay in advance via Package Tracking or by using the link in the email. You cannot open the mailbox until the package is paid for.
Balikovna outside the post office
Balikovna at one of the Czech Post's partners. You can find it in a grocery store, stationery shop, newsagent or drugstore. And also at selected SAZKA outlets.
Picking up a package outside the post office
To pick up from Czech Post partners, you will need a pickup code and the recipient's name.
Pick up the package at the post office
To pick up at the post office, you will need the pickup code you find in the email or text message and the name of the package recipient. You can also pick up using your ID. At post offices, you may see a call-out system. Press the "Balikovna" button and enter the pick-up code. You will then be on the line in a few minutes.
Cash on delivery
You can pay by cash or card at all post offices. In some of our partners' parcel shops it is not possible to pay by card. At these parcel shops you can use online prepayment by card. Look up your parcel in Parcel Tracking and if it is ready for collection, click on the "Pay by card online" button. You can also pay using the link in the email. This is sent when the package is ready for collection. If your parcel is waiting in the Parcel Box and is COD, then you must pay in advance online by card. Until the parcel is paid for, the mailbox cannot be opened. Look up your package in Package Tracking and click on the "Pay by card online" button. You can also pay using the link in the email. Storage time
Packages ready for collection at post offices or partners will wait 7 calendar days. Packages prepared at the Balikovna-BOXECH wait approximately 2 working days.
Extension of the storage period
Unfortunately, It is not possible. Parcel offices are located in smaller locations with limited storage capacity, so we need you to pick up your package as quickly as possible within 7 calendar days. But don't worry, if you can't make it, you can pass the pick-up code to someone who will take the package for you.
The package will be picked up by someone else
I'm sure it is. Just give him the pickup code along with the recipient's name or package number. The code can be found in the email or text message.
When the package is in a different location
Sometimes it may happen that your chosen Parcel Service cannot accept the package. For example, because it is already full. In order to get your parcel to you as quickly as possible, ČP will take it to the nearest suitable post office. This way you don't have to worry about anything. We will let you know about the alternative drop-off point by text message or e-mail. You can also find it in the Package Tracking.
