• The French people needed a cheap and reliable vehicle, so the designers were given the task of developing a car that would carry 4 peasants in clogs and straws on their heads, a sack of potatoes. A car that can drive across a ploughed field, not break eggs in a bag and reach speeds of up to 60 km/h with a maximum fuel consumption of 5l/100km ?
• The first 250 units were produced in 1939, but subsequently destroyed to prevent them from falling into the hands of the advancing German army ?
