You know that:
- The vehicle originated in the United States in 1941 on the chassis of the reliable Dodge 3/4 ton off-road vehicle. But it must be said that the origin of the construction goes back to the British Bedford.
- Dodge managed to produce these cars in sufficient numbers and the wartime demand for off-road passenger transport vehicles was met. This situation made it possible, in agreement with the army, to prepare and test various modifications, including the installation of a 37 mm cannon.
- Initially, the designers proposed to fit the body of the car with an M4 cannon facing forward, but the complex control of the weapon and many limitations forced the designers to turn the cannon against the direction of travel and choose its simpler M3 variant.
- This resulted in a fast and agile vehicle with great firepower. Dodge's proven design is still used by arms companies today to build fast assault vehicles.
- More than 56,000 units were produced in different versions at the factory in Michigan, USA.
- Due to the high number of pieces produced, many of them have survived to this day.
- If you want to buy such a car in preserved condition, you can expect a price of up to 50,000 USD.

From the memoirs of US veteran Jim Jones:
"I drove the Fargo all the way to Berlin during the war. It was a car you could rely on. When the war ended, I returned to our family farm with my car. I asked the army to buy the Fargo and they sold it to me for $14 .I've never had a better tractor."
